Our district had 84 participants in six sports / 10 disciplines
at the Provincial 55+ Winter Games in Orillia February 6-9/2024. We had a significant number
of teams win medals. Please join me in congratulating, each of them for their achievement.
Whether or not the individuals or teams medalled, we should all be
proud that they represented our district with distinction, and exhibited
camaraderie and good sportsmanship.
We are also grateful to those individuals who live beyond our district
boundaries and joined our teams temporarily to represent District 12.
Once again, thank you to everyone who participated or supported our
district in the Winter Games. I hope you will be watching for information
about our summer events. Hopefully our schedule will be ready by April 1st.
