CONGRATULATIONS ARE EXTENDED TO OUR LADIES 55+ ICE HOCKEY TEAM.

THEY WON GOLD AT THE 2019 ONTARIO 55+ WINTER GAMES IN HUNTSVILLE 

MARCH 5-7, 2019.  THEY HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO REPRESENT ONTARIO

AT THE 55+ CANADA GAMES IN KAMLOOPS IN 2020.

 

Team members (alphabetical order) are: 

Laurie Allin, Jennifer Ashley, Cheryl Argue, Sue Austin, Linda Bloom,

Pam Clark, Elaine Devlin (coach), Sue King, Heather Landry, Nancy MacDonald,

Sandi MacDonald-Wangen, Joan Murphy, Paula Nelson, Kathy Pearson,

Millie Rose (coach), Claudia van der Meulen, and Debbie Wiltshire.

 

We owe a special thanks to Jen Ashley as she was the team coordinator.

 

We also had a 65+ Men's team who competed with distinction at

the Provincial Winter Games in Huntsville.

Participants may compete in only one division at Ontario 55+ Winter Games. 

The gold medal winners at the district level is eligible to attend the Ontario 55+ Winter Games ; therefore, each district may send a maximum of four (4) participants.

Venue: Cobourg Community Centre (CCC), Cobourg, ON and St. Mary’s Secondary School, Cobourg, ON

Participants may compete in only one division at Ontario 55+ Winter Games.

The gold medal teams at the district level are eligible to attend the Ontario 55+ Winter Games; therefore, each district may send a maximum of ten (10) participants per team to a maximum of sixty (60). The minimium number of participants will be seven (7) per team for men & women divisions and eight (8) per co-ed team (4 men and 4 women).
